TBWA\Vancouver’s viral game for the Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF) has been included in the 2008 Applied Arts Interactive Annual, Canada’s premier magazine of visual communications that features the best of both national and international creative.
The one- or two-player game introduces a “brutal and unforgiving sport”, Elbow Wars. If you've ever wanted to elbow someone in the facebone for hogging the arm rest at a movie theatre, now's your chance: play the game at www.elbowwars.com.
The concept was developed by Creative Director Paul Little and the in-house interactive team of Monica Buck and Bruce Sinclair, with copywriting by Addie Gillespie and Jon Murray. Production was done by Mike Hasinoff.
The Annual is published in March, 2009. A complete list of winners will be available at www.appliedartsmag.com.
